Musings of a Future NASA Scientist (Science & Music History)

Hi! My name is Zaila (or Z for short). I’m starting this blog as a way to practice science communication via sharing science history & fun facts, as I want to be a science communicator one day in addition to being a senior scientist in NASA’s Human Research Program (or more). Whatever it is I do, I want to be remembered in history as being a major player in humans establishing the first long-term colonies on Mars, or at least the Moon. I also want to be remembered in history as someone who inspired legions of people to pursue careers in science, or at least know how a vaccine works, which is where the science communication comes in.

In short, I guess I want to be a sort of Marie Curie /Bill Nye/Neil DeGrasse Tyson fusion.

I’m also starting this blog as a random space to talk about music history, something else I’m deeply passionate about!
